Greater Masai Mara Serengeti ecosystem have amazing game viewing as a lot of other national and games parks in Southern Africa, Botswana & South Africa, however the great migration takes place throughout the year and is distinguished in terms of majority of viewing advantages ie 70-80% of annual Wildebeest Migration happens throughout Tanzania.

Whilst the crossing of the Mara River is from Tanzania to Kenya, it is the Tanzanian side of the Mara River (Serengeti) where most of the action takes place and more concentrate of people and vehicles of the Kenyan side and the Tanzanian (Serengeti) side of the Mara River doesn’t attract as many tourists as it is more difficult to get to and more expensive. In the Serengeti it is more easy to view and more comfortable from the hordes of other vehicles a much more pleasant and exciting time to view the migration experience, hence our concentration for our fully escorted tours in Tanzania start from July – September.

Passport and Visas
Please ensure that you have at least a minimum of 6 months validity left from your date of return to Australia, two blank pages in your passport, plus an additional blank page for each African country you intend to visit. If you are on an extended Go Wild African Safari we recommend that you have at least 6 blank pages in your passport.
